WEBINAR 19th October 2021: Dyslexia. Learning difficulty or creative superpower?

Real Ideas Organisation is hosting a webinar focusing on Dyslexia: Learning difficulty of creative superpower?

The webinar is taking place on:

Tuesday 19th October, 10.30 – 11.30am

Here is a taster of what will be covered…

When talent from dyslexic and neurodiverse people is nurtured and supported amazing things can happen, not only for the individual but for your business too! So why is it viewed in such a negative light?

Despite the potential of this creative superpower, there are still many structural barriers to people who receive a diagnosis and many practices that really don’t support a range of neuro-diverse needs.

It is estimated that 10% of the UK population is dyslexic, think of all that raw, out of the box creative thinking ready to be released into the world.  So, what can we as employers, facilitators and providers of cultural experiences do to support? How do we, find ways to learn and see beyond the label and what practices can we employ that make it easier to deal with the challenges Dyslexia presents?
