
Understanding the Barriers to Success in Mathematics: Conference 12th March 2021
Good news – our planned annual conference is going ahead. However, it will of course be virtual and delivered via Teams.
The conference will be taking place on Friday 12th March 2021
9.00am login for a 9.15am start. 3.15pm finish
The conference is run in alliance with Cornwall Council’s Cognition and Learning Service.
The keynote speaker will be Professor Camilla Gilmore who has kindly donated her time.
Dr. Camilla Gilmore is Professor of Mathematical Cognition in the Centre for Mathematical Cognition at Loughborough University. Her research is focused on understanding how mathematics skills develop and why some children have such difficulties learning mathematics.
The cost will be much lower than usual, as there will be no venue.
Cost: £10 per person (£5 for parent/carer)
