Working With Dyslexia – a transformative event dedicated to raising awareness of dyslexia. November 2nd 2023

Dyslexia Cornwall were delighted to be asked to attend as guest speakers at Truro and Penwith College for a one off event to raise awareness of dyslexia. 

Attendees had the opportunity to understand how someone with dyslexia processes information and how to potentially recognise dyslexia in others and themselves. Together we explored the challenges and the positives experienced by individuals with dyslexia and gave an insight into how dyslexia may present within their own working environment. Representatives from Truro and Penwith College Dyslexia Support Services where also present to talk about the support available through them.

We were very honoured to be the first people to use a brand new, state of the art lecture theatre within the Fal building!
